A determined survivor and undoubtedly a strong leader, Philip Blake, more commonly known as “The Governor” is portrayed by David Morrissey. He serves as one of the primary characters and a villain of the Walking Dead series for the entire third season and first half of the fourth season.
He can fundamentally be described as a brutal, barbaric, fierce, ferocious, ruthless and cold-hearted person. His insane, selfish, power-hungry personality is evident in his actions.
The Governor is also quite intelligent and even though he has a clearly negative persona, it is also observed that he actually protects the people he cares about. What adds to his wickedness and villainous nature is that he is unpredictable and a manipulative person.
